What is the current position on the 37 million dollar referendum Menomonee Falls School District wants for spring referendum?
Is your organization aware of the two school referendums on the 4/5 ballot? They are both ridiculous proposals. The $37.2 mil. building updates referendum alone is the same amount of the combined total of the last four referendums that passed. It is full of items that are far from necessary – like a $1.7 mil. new entrance for Shady Lane. The other referendum wants to increase by 10% the amount the district can levy every year, forever. The district claims they are handcuffed for revenues yet their per pupil revenue is increasing and they have added over $4 mil. to reserves in the last 5 years.
